Employee Spotlight –Parker Moye, Customer Success Director

Welcome to our Employee Spotlight blog series – Each month we feature a Q&A from one of our top employees at Centermark by Web.comparker-moye_oct16

This month we are featuring Parker Moye, Customer Success Director.

Where did you grow up? What was the experience like?

I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and loved it! Charlotte is a beautiful city and I love being raised in the sunny, warm south!

What drew you to work at Centermark by Web.com?

I was fresh out of college and coaching volleyball.  My high school volleyball coach approached me and told me about this company called Yodle that her son worked for. She said that Yodle was a great company and that her son Joel Bradbury loved it! So I reached out to Joel and interviewed with Yodle – I’ve been here for 4 years and love working for WBN!

What is your favorite part of being a Customer Success Director?

As a Customer Success Director I have managed several teams of consultants.  I have to say – the best part of being a manager is watching your team grow!  It is awesome when a consultant focuses on a skill and you watch them learn the skill, practice the skill, and execute it with expertise. Those growth moments make me super proud to help manage, coach, and train our team. Every consultant I work with is eager to learn and expand their skill set- it makes leading this team to success really rewarding!

What is a quality you appreciate in an employee or colleague?

My favorite quality in others is a can-do positive attitude.  The main characteristics that sets our employees apart is their drive and initiative!  The people I work alongside throughout the many teams of Web Brand Networks (WBN) are all smart, kind, caring, determined and find a solution with a smile on their face.  It’s awesome and empowering to work alongside such results-oriented team members who truly value their clients!

What are your hobbies? What do you do for fun?

As a retired volleyball players (bad knees ruined my career!) I now am into less impactful activities. I love being outside- cycling, beach volleyball, socializing, and trying every single pizza place in the Chicago vicinity *suggestions welcomed*!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

On my travel bucket list is definitely a tour around Europe – I am hopefully going there next year for the first time!
